First Impression BB CREAM GARNIER MEDIUM – GARNIER

Hi All,

My latest obsession is the Garnier BB cream product and this is the first BB cream I’ve ever tried. The reason I haven’t tried it before was because I’m very sceptical when it comes to products for my face like foundations for example. For me it’s like mission impossible to find the perfect foundation for my skin and the foundations I have used always end up making my skin dry and flaky or never last for the day and I can never find the correct colour for my skin.

So I was at a friend of mine place and she was speaking about how she love’s this BB cream and how great the coverage and it is so inexpensive for such a great product and I was just telling her that I’m not wasting money on products that won’t even work for me. Then I started googling reviews on the product and everyone was raving about it on the web so I thought what the heck let’s see what the big fuss is about and now I am absolutely in love with this product.

The one that I have is the colour medium and it just says ORIGINAL MIRACLE SKIN PERFECTOR ALL-IN-ONE. I found this product at clicks for only R72.00 and it says that it evens skin tone, blurs lines and imperfections, luminate skin and gives a healthy glow, 24H* hydration and it has UV protection – SPF 15. Let me tell you that the coverage of this BB cream is amazing and it covers my breakouts very well, so well that I don’t even make use of foundation or concealer anymore and it’s definitely a miracle worker for me and it gives my skin an amazing glow. However, it is very dewy but that works for me because it makes my skin look young and fresh and I’m not too fond of pressed powder but if you not one for the dewy look then I suggest you use the powder to set the BB cream. I don’t have anything negative to say about this product although when you apply it, it does take a few minutes to set but that’s not a train smash but the pros are:

Easy to apply
Good Pigmentation
Lightweight
Long lasting
Great coverage
Natural looking
Smooth
SPF 15

above on the left is my wrist without any BB cream on and on the right is with BB cream so you can see the difference. I will try and take a picture with half my face done so you can have proper look at it and then i'll upload it.


I highly recommend this product! They come in different shades and there are various types for different skin tones and they are very affordable.

Good To Be Back

Hi Everyone,


I am finally back and this time I’m back for good :) I hope everyone enjoy the festive season and compliments of the seasons to all my fellow reader.


I know I have been MIA (missing in action) for the pass couple of months but, I have been so busy with my studies and work that I hadn't gotten any chance to blog. However, I am still busy with my studies but now I just have more free time on my hands so you can expect more blog posts from me now.

Long Weekend - Goudini Spa

Hi Guys :)

So I'm back from my family vacation and I know I said that I would do a post over the weekend but signal was horrible over there so getting on to the net was a journey lol. My weekend away with my family was amazing and I really enjoyed spending time with them, like I said in my previous post family means the world to me even though they drive me insane at times, I still love them to bits. I had loads of fun with my family but I definitely missed my better half an enormously huge amount for those 5 days, for me it was torture not seeing him for that long and I know some of you think it's just 5 days but if you are insanely, crazy, madly in love with your boyfriend/ girlfriend then being away from them that long is the worst thing on the planet! Now that i'm back i'll be smothering him with kisses lol.

For the long weekend my family and I went away to Goudini Spa. It's a self-catering resort, its about an hour away from Cape Town in the heart of the Boland Mountains with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, a water worm, trampolines, mini golf, tennis and volleyball, snooker and pool, game arcade, a restaurant, convenience store, a beauty salon, takeaways and a liquor store. Goudini is a very safe and secure family resort that caters for everyone and by safe I mean you can let your children run free without having to worry and there's plenty of security and life guards on duty, if you forget your clothing lying by the pool, tomorrow it will still be there lol. So if you plan on going there you'll definitely have a blast. Oh and I forgot to mention that if you more for the outdoors, they even have a camping site there where you can bring your caravan and pitch up a tent so yes, they do cater for everyone.

Long Weekend

It's finally long weekend and this time I'm not sick yeah! Lol. For those of you who don't know, I love long weekends (then again who doesn't)  but everytime I get excited about it, I end getting sick or something goes wrong and all my plans just goes out the window :( sad I know but thank goodness this time it's different :)

This weekend im going away with my family to Goudini Spa. Every year we go away as a family or sometimes even twice a year. I love family bonding time and to me family is everything. My perfectly normal yet insane family means the world to me but there is one person that I'm going to miss an enormously huge amount and that's my darling boyfriend,  the love of my life :( sniff sniff. Unfortunately his not coming with me so I'm definitely going to miss him a hell of a lot, it's so sad, I can’t deal bcz being without him for a few hours are already hard but 4 days away from him is just torture...its hell on earth and I can't wait to get back already just so that I can hug him lol but I'm going to enjoy my long weekend with my family and as soon as I get back my boyfriend is the first person I need to see :)

Today I’m doing a review on the Teint Pure Essence Pure Skin Mousse Make-Up

I’m a huge fan of Essence Brand especial their nail polish but I recently discovered that they have so many other cosmetics that I really need to try, so I bought the Essence Teint Pure Skin Mousse Make-Up and the Essence Get Big Lashes Volume Boost Mascara and so far I must say I’m loving both of them but for now I’ll just be doing the review on the Essence Teint Pure Skin Mousse Make-Up.

Now about the Essence Teint Pure Skin Mousse Make-Up

Essence Pure Skin Mousse Make-Up is an anti-bacterial make-up that ensures a gorgeous, matt complexion without clogging your pores. It looks a lot like the container of Maybelline’s dream matte mouse but it has a blue cap instead of a nude. It is fairly cheap, I paid about R60.00. It has a very soft matte finish. When I apply it, it does not look cakey at all. It stays on my skin for around 7 hours without touch ups and it does not irritate my skin at all which I really like. Although it says it fights spots and blackheads, my blackheads did not disappear. It doesn’t cover spots as easily as they claim to and it doesn’t cover that well but it does work well for my skin. Overall it’s not a bad product, for how much I paid for it, it’s definitely worth it.

 
I have decided that from April 26^th, 2014, I will be having an Essence Cosmetic Challenge :) Yeah! So what I’ll be doing is every month is, I will purchase one or two beauty products from essence, try them out for a month and then do a review post on the product once a month. I’m so excited I can’t wait to start because there are so many new exciting products from Essence that I just can’t wait to try!
